Speak at a Commission Meeting

Have something to say to the Commission? We want to hear from you.

Members of the public may request time to speak at any regular Commission meeting. Simply submit a written request to the Chairperson no later than 14 days before the meeting, including the meeting date, your topic, and how much time you're requesting.

The Chairperson or their designee will review your request and notify you whether it has been approved and how much time will be available to you.

All board meetings are open to the public.

Meetings begin at 10:00 AM on the third Thursday during February, May, August, and November.

The next board meeting is Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 10 a.m. It will be held at the South Carolina Department of Archives and History, 8301 Parklane Rd, Columbia, SC 29223. The agenda will be posted at a later date.
